Frequently Asked Questions
What will you do as my wedding planner?
As your wedding planner, I’ll plan your wedding from start to finish; without worry or stress on your part. With every detail imaginable, I’ll plan, design and produce a wedding day that reflects you as a couple. It’s always my goal to create one of your BEST days EVER!
Why if I get my mom or best friend to plan my wedding?
There is a LOT of work that goes into planning a wedding. Even the wedding day has many logistics involved. Your friend, mom or other family should enjoy the day and have fun. Allow them to enjoy your day, without stressing over timelines and tracking down items. They will love you even more for it!
What have your past couples said about working with you?
That’s a great question! If you go to my Reviews page, you can read reviews from my past couples.
Will you take over my wedding and not allow me to have any input?
No, of course not. In order to get to know you as a couple. I listen intently and ask lots of questions. I then take that information and come up with an overall design that represents you and showcases what’s most important to you. It’s your wedding, not mine, so you will have plenty of input.
Who do you work best with?
I enjoy working with couples who believe that true love never fails, and that love can last a lifetime. Couples who don’t take themselves too seriously, who love fiercely, takes time to have fun and believe that family is important; are the couples that I enjoy the most. A bride who has classic style, her friends are close like sisters, and joy is evident in her personality is the type of bride that I adore.
When should I hire you?
For Wedding Planning, it is best to hire me at least 12-18 months in advance. For Wedding Management it is best to hire me at least 2-3 months before your wedding date.
What makes you qualified to be a wedding planner?
I’ve worked in the Hospitality industry, since I was sixteen. I went on to study it in college and gained an in-depth knowledge of the industry. I’m very passionate about the wedding and hospitality industry and truly love what I get to do for my couples. My heart has always gravitated towards weddings, so much so that I believe that this is my calling!
Do you offer Day-Of or Month-of Coordination?
No. To coordinate your entire wedding day and all the many details, it takes longer than one day and even more than one month, to get all the details ready. It is not possible to come in, the day of your wedding and make sure everything happens, exactly as you hope; seamlessly and efficiently. Even if the detail planning is finished, there’s always still more planning involved with coordinating the actual wedding day.
If you plan to have a coordinator only, I like to come in at least 2 to 3 months before
your wedding date, to ensure that your wedding will happen exactly according to plan.
Will you travel?
Absolutely, yes! Most of my weddings are in the north Georgia and the Atlanta area, but I would absolutely LOVE to travel wherever you are! A small additional travel fee would be built into your contract, for out of state or country.
My venue provides a Coordinator. Do I still need to hire a Wedding Planner or Coordinator of my own?
Yes! Venue Coordinators are there for the venue, not the couple. They’re not responsible for the months of planning, designing, production and the many other details that are required for a wedding to go smoothly. Wedding Planners will help you with every detail, from the very beginning, until the last guest leaves your reception.
Do you plan other events besides weddings?
Yes. Although I like to say that weddings are my signature, I would love to help you plan other events, such as: Proposals, Rehearsal Dinners, Anniversaries, Showers, Office Christmas Parties and Grand Opening Parties.
Can you help me with Photo & Editorial Shoots?
Yes! I absolutely LOVE photo and editorial shoots! Whether it be a styled wedding, event or for a Blogger; I would love to help plan and style it for you!
Do you have any assistants, that will lend extra help on my wedding day?
Yes! Besides myself, I always have at least one assistant with me. Depending on your guest count and the logistics involved, there could be more assistants.
